Procession is a trio improvisation with Wilson Shook and Aine Nakamura, for snare drum, objects, soprano sax, voice and movement. Recorded in an abandoned gym in Oakland, CA, published by Other Ghosts in 2024.
Peripheral Residue combines a field recording composition with two duo improvisations in situ with Andrew Weathers on Mare Island, a decommissioned naval base and mixed land use area of Vallejo, California. Publihed by Glomar in Colorado, 2024.
Rooms and Shadows (1 and 3) is a remote duo for electronics and percussive actions exchanged between Beijing and San Francisco with Sun Yizhou who designed graphic scores for the project. Released on CD and digital by Ftarri in Tokyo, 2023.
Severity is a solo cassette for percussion and electronics released May 2022 by Karma Detonation Tapes in Taiwan.
Sul Filo features a percussion and location recording trio with Giacomo Salis and Paolo Sanna, released June 2021 on Tsss Tapes.
Erosion is the first document from an ongoing percussion duo with Jacob Felix Heule. Bass drum duo improvisations published by Notice Recordings in New York, May 2021.
30 Minutes on Earth is a cassette released by Beijing label Zoomin’ Night in 2020. Zhu Wenbo invited eight of us in different places around the world to record sound for half an hour in an outdoor location to be layered by Wenbo as a composition.
Hirakito is the first album from an ongoing collaboration with Gretchen Jude exploring percussion and voice improvisation working with a dual relation to field recording through site specific performances and playback of sounds recorded elsewhere while improvising. CD published by Full Spectrum in 2019.
